Will The Gas In The Gas Pressure Regulator Leak Through The Breathing Hole?

The gas pressure regulator is mainly composed of handwheel, intake pipe, upper valve cover, lower valve cover, rubber film, intake nozzle, valve pad, a small lever, outlet pipe and other parts. The center of the pressure regulator is a circular shape. Rubber membrane, it divides the regulator into two upper and lower air chambers. There is a tension spring in the upper air chamber, the upper end is connected to the adjusting screw cover, and the lower end is connected to the rubber film. There is a 0.8mm diameter at the edge of the upper valve cover The small hole allows the upper air chamber to communicate with the outside world. This hole is called the breathing hole. When the upstream high-pressure gas inlet pipe pierces the valve pad and enters the lower air chamber, as the gas in the lower air chamber increases, the pressure in the lower air chamber will increase. Increase, forcing the rubber membrane to bulge upwards. The volume of the upper air chamber gradually becomes smaller. When the pressure of the upper air chamber is stronger than atmospheric pressure, the indoor air is slowly discharged from the breathing hole, completing the exhalation process of the pressure regulator. In this process , The right end of the lever is moved up, and the left end is pressed down, so that the intake nozzle is gradually closed, and the air supply is stopped, so that the pressure of the lower air chamber no longer rises.
When the downflow valve is opened, the pressure in the lower chamber becomes smaller because the gas is output outwards, the rubber film is concave, the right end of the lever moves down and the left end moves up, the valve pad is opened, and the high pressure gas enters the lower chamber. In the middle, the volume of the upper air chamber gradually increases. When its pressure is lower than the outside atmospheric pressure, air enters the upper air chamber from the outside through the breathing hole, completing an inhalation process of the pressure regulator. The small hole is drilled on the edge of the valve cover Upper, close to the rubber film. If the pressure in the lower air chamber is too high, the rubber film will bulge upward and immediately block the breathing hole, preventing the air in the upper air chamber from being discharged from the breathing hole. According to Boyle's specific law, it can be known that , The air of a certain quality that is sealed in the upper air chamber, in the process of reducing the volume, its pressure continues to increase. That is pV = constant. It avoids the damage of the rubber film due to the excessive pressure difference between the upper and lower air pressures, and avoids the damage caused by the diaphragm. Damage caused by gas leakage incident. Therefore, the gas in the pressure regulator will not leak through the breathing hole.
